A surface lasts as long as its base
Most road defects are born below the surface, not on it. That is why the expensive part of our jobs is the part nobody sees: soil, water removal and compaction.
CH 0+060
What we do
- Earthworks: topsoil stripping, replacement of unsuitable soil, formation and compaction of the subgrade.
- Bases: sand layer, crushed-stone base, geotextile and geogrid over weak soils.
- Surfacing: asphalt binder and wearing courses, block paving, gravel road regrading.
- Details: kerbs, footways, dropped crossings, gullies and property accesses.
- Cycle and footpaths: new paths and resurfacing of existing ones.
- Maintenance: pothole repair, joint sealing, ditch clearing.
